Ok so we pretty much agree on most of the songs except for D tune and Zodiac so putting those two songs aside that was my point about how BH brought some of his solo out takes to the band to work on and for Axl to put vocals on.

So if you should be grilling anyone about these extra songs is MSL and Walker since they are the ones who are always hoarding songs. Dark has always shared what he got unlike those two.

At least we are pretty sure Zodiac had vocals recorded. In CD#2 from the Village Leaks is listed as "Zodiac 13 (no vox)"

Just hypothetically stating they are out there and exchanged for some sort of currency.

Zodiac sounds like it was put together pre Bucket imo. All the bucket songs on the village recordings are ROUGH demos. These songs are fully put together featuring the whole band, Bucket’s are not. I’m willing to be wrong, but the band already had a shitload of songs already completed by the time Bucket got in the band. Pitman and Axl had already worked out songs like ITW and Maddy. Pretty sure he was heavily involved in Silkworms too.

Quick song? Maybe i'm wrong but that song is the one with voices of a western movie without lyrics justo Axl ridiculous screams all the time during the song... Is that one? If It is i prefer they don't release it ever
Because bc it has those on the demo does not mean it would on the final version. That stuff at the beginning on the CD demos didnt have them in the final release. Brain joked in an interview they would send Axl crazy stuff, they also butt those clips in teh songs just to have something in some of them. I doubt Quick song if they completed it, would even have that stuff on the final track.

There’s just no way Zodiac or DTune are Bucket songs. Not even sure he’s even on them, tbh
These are fully fleshed out band songs. Bucket’s songs are not. Since we don’t know and all we have are assumptions, I’ll go further and say Zodiac screams Pitman to me
And how is Zodiac not a BH song when it has all of BHs classic style all over it, with all that tapping and kill switch stuff? And Just because Robin has parts on it does not mean its not a song BH brought to the band and they worked on it. There are tons of these discs with the songs at differnet stages. Just look at TWAT for example and how some versions of BH and others dont.
Even the BH forums/reddits back when these leaked out thought there were BH songs
And just to clarify when I say a BH song, I mean one that he brought to the band, from his solo stuff, that he let anyone add to for Axl to song on.
There is no way Zodiac isn't a BH written song, BH is all over that song.

that is because some of those songs are probably buckethead left over songs from monsters and robots. So they were already done and he just gave them to Axl to put vocals on.
Gotta disagree with you here, Dave. If they were Bucket’s songs they would have sounded like the other Bucket songs. And Bucket never structured songs like those. And these, imo, pretty clearly featured Robin. They sound like they’d been hammered out as songs by the band as a whole.
Songs like D tune, zodiac, dummy and dup suplex are clearly Buckethead songs. sure Robin can be on them because he was probably added but BH brought songs from his solo stuff for Axl to work on
