Riyadh and song 2. I think the song 'If the world' could be cool, but Axl's voice just ruins it IMO.

Axl must have been gutted when he left. Forget Robin, its BH they need to work on bringing back

I like Guns N Roses. I don't like EVERYTHING ever done by Axl or Gnr. I don't like Spaghetti incident. I hated Sympathy For the Devil and I don't like these 3 new songs.
Overall, I just cannot stand Axl's high pitched screaming & voice throughout all the songs. ughhh, turn it off. Sorry, aside from that they might kick ass, but I just can't get by it. It's disappointing to me too to have Axl (vocals) be the weak link. Hopefully on the masters it's a different vocal. The songwritings probably good, I can't even listen to it though.
I think you have a point. Maybe his voice changed in the studio as it did in the live concerts

Guns N' Roses rush to plug leaked tracks
The website Antiquiet.com was slapped with a '˜cease and desist' order from Guns N' Roses' lawyers yesterday when it leaked nine songs from the band's hyper-delayed new album Chinese Democracy.
The tracks were reportedly mastered and finished. But soon after the links were posted GN'R demanded their removal.
As Jonanthan Cohen of Billboard.com reports:
Six of the songs have already leaked in one unfinished form or another: Better, The Blues, the title track, Madagascar, IRS and There Was A Time.
But these versions appear to be much further along on the path toward completion, and feature new touches like organ and tambourine on IRS and a beefed-up chorus with multi-tracked vocals on Madagascar.
The three previously unheard songs are Rhiad & The Bedouins, If The World and a track whose title is unknown.
Rhiad'¦, which was played live by Guns N' Roses in 2001 and 2002, is a pounding rocker with a trademark down-and-dirty main guitar riff and a flashy solo.
If The World is a head-spinning blend of flamenco guitar, industrial synth tones, bluesy piano licks and Axl Rose at the top of his vocal register, while the unnamed track is an even more unusual melange of piano-led crooning, orchestral bombast and a serene instrumental outro.

The vocals on Chinese Democracy are low. There's probably others aswell...we're just not hearing them.
I agree with you. I reckon whilst Azoff is still negotiating Axl (who's being suspiciously quiet again) is still 'finishing' tracks or interfering with the mastering process.
Hell he's probably logged onto ROV now gettin our feedback

I agree that the CD sessions were a mess. In the 2000-04 era, its almost like a case of too much talent and not knowing what to do with it. So many people(and instruments) have to be placed in the song, and then you add in Axl's hard on for orchestra, a real flow never develops in the songs.
Then time has to be factored in. The album has been worked on different times, and from what is known, extremely long periods of inactivity. I don't think there's ever been an album recorded like this.
While I like a majority of all the CD songs, its bloated to the gills and just sounds forced.
I cant even begin to imagine what an 07/08(or later) version of this album is gonna sound like.
I seem to get the impression you are warming to some of these new leaks, but mainly because of Buckethead's part?
I wish there was a way Axl could get Bucket back, even if for one tour to show case the new material.
