I think that the MVP award could have gone either way, to a member of the D line (Tuck, Umenyiora, or Strahan) or to Eli. I dont think either choice would have been wrong.

And I dont think you can really say that the Pats need get an improvement over Maroney. He had two 100 yard games in the playoffs prior to this game. The Giants just shut him down. Just like they shut Ryan Grant down, who had over 200 yards rushing the week before that against the Seahawks.

Pride and Glory... Great night, huh?! I'm with you man, I love that "snooze fest" in the first half. I love old school Giant defense. And as someone who stuck by Eli throughout it all, like yourself, this is so sweet!

GO GIANTS!!!

Hell yeah!!!! World champions!!! Our D came to play and when we needed the points, Eli took the team down the field. Eli to Tyree will go down as one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history. For Eli to get out of what looked like a sure sack, then escape and throw it downfield, only for Tyree to make an absolute amazing catch...WOW! I knew Eli had it in... That was the best game in Giants history for me. There were some good ones in the playoffs this year, the upset against Dallas (sorry Jerry Jones!... TO crying), upsetting  Green Bay, and then this. Wow, I am still speechless.

Yeah much ado over nothing really. This is why I hate the two weeks between the championship games and the Super Bowl. Everything gets blown up to monumental proportions. Gotta love the media...

Yeah I have always heard that the obstacle to getting the show on dvd was the songs. It would cost a fortune to get the rights to all those songs, and the crazy price of course would then be given to us. I think it is similar to some of the "Married...With Children" seasons. They quit putting the "Love and Marriage" song on there as the theme because it was going to cost too much to get it, so they just put something generic on there. Of course, this would be very difficult to do with "The Wonder Years", since the songs are such a big part of the series.

And I dont get the sense that nobody is interested in it. It seems to have alot of hype surrounding it, and some in tv are predicting record ratings. Hell, I'm in Kentucky and there is a lot of talk about the game, just as it always is.

I hope people keep thinking this is going to be a blow out. They are going to be dead wrong about this. Of course these are the same people that said the Giants wouldnt beat Tampa, well they definatly arent beating Dallas, oh well they DEFINATLY arent beating Green Bay. How'd that work out?

Great, we'll get the "Cena cant be beaten" crap forced down our throats again.

^^ Yep. I think they will bring a safety over to help double Moss. But that means the rest of the defense will have to play their guys to a tee. It's gonna take an A+ effort, but I believe they can do it. I also think that Bradshaw will have some long gains running, and could be deadly in this game with the screen pass.
