And like you said, I seem to remember several of those SA shows back in 92-93 were huge!

I know 75.000 people saw GNR play at Calder Park in Melbourne Australia in 1993....and I would expect that the Sydney show was bigger...and I'd hazard a guess then that non-aussie shows on the same tour would have been bigger still.
Looks like it's going to be great though.
