Re: Our Music.

You know I've been having a cool idea floating around my head for the past couple of weeks now. I was wondering if some of you guys wanted to do participate in covering some songs together. We could all do different parts of a song. It could be GNR (November Rain?) or another band that we are familiar with and then we could send each other those different pieces of music and see what we can come up with as a finished cover later on. They wouldn't have to sound like the originals at all. We could put our on spin on them, make them laughable/something to smile about, shorter, and bring us closer together as fellow music fans. We could list what instruments, tools, materials, or skills we have to see what ideas we can try out. Anyone else care to add anything more to this concept? big_smile

Neemo was talking about getting something like that happening. I'd be up for it - although i'm terrible at covers - especially slash - but it would be fun anyway!

Hi all,
Below are a couple of postings of my old band Rubie Vale. Way back in September 2001 we went from Dublin to Chicago to record a demo for Cornerstone Promotions who were interested in managing us.

I hope you enjoy.
