Shame, you want the world class players on the pitch in these finals.
Don't see where Portugal are getting a goal from now, maybe Nani but he's no Ronaldo.

If Portugal win, just remember Shearer ect. saying how England would beat them if they end up facing them in the last 16.
I think on paper we would. Englands starting 11 is stronger overall than Portugals imo. Unfortunately we go to pieces in competetive tournaments so saying what England 'would' do is always difficult. I do maintain player by player we have a better possible side but so did about 7 other nations at this Euros.

I'm definitely not a Nani fan, but let's be honest is he these days much worse than Rooney?
The rest is all debatable, but I personally don't think it's that much stronger. Although the English players in this squad were certainly better paid.
I just don't think it's that clear cut.

Portugal have been shocking. Surely folk like polluxlm should reevaluate their thinking on this display. Boring boring bastards. France have done all the running, all the creating, all the attacking only their profligacy let them down. Portugal look like they don't want to try to score.

Fuckin football. So many times had to flick over pissed off not able to watch celebrations - last time was real & cron winning champ league..
I'll watch tonight tho Portugal been better this extra time, France deserve it for their profligacy & bringing on shite like coman.
Portugal after all these years finally get a centre forward to deliver.. after losing their best player.
