Slash (that Slash) burned ex-bandmate Axl Rose in an interview, report Rush & Molloy, when he said that the next Velvet Revolver album would be done after a "quick turnaround" -- because Axl, of course, has been working on his magnum opus, "Chinese Democracy," for over a decade. The two haven't spoken for even longer than that.

I dunno I wouldn't take Slash talking about a "quick turnaround" to be a dig at Axl. I think the person writing this is reaching here, I'd love to see the interview to see how it was said.
Words are often twisted. I honestly believe Slash wishes Axl all the best.
Will VR have another CD out before Chinese Democracy,it's possible.
But lets see if there is a VR by the end of the year.

Yeah. My theory from around late 04/early 05. I'm sure others have suggested the possibility as well.

I would hate to see it too (A VR greatest hits before CD) but I certainly wouldn't bet against it.

I can't see it as something that would never happen. As Russ said, they might see it as a way to get more money squeezed out of them. I don't think it would happen now, maybe in a year or two.

It would have to be more of a 'Best Of' package rather than a GH, they don't have enough hits to make a GH album.
