Buttegeig is actually likeable  won't win or do much damage, but he does better in debates than interviews. He comes across as fake in interviews but authentic in the debate.

I think in practice they told him to stay calm. He seemed to be following advice. Plus I think calm is kinda his nature or debating style. Mess with his money & he'll get angry. Bet on that.
