Basically it was stuff that, if you're arguing on Facebook or a GnR message board, it's tolerable. But its not to be expected of the President. Even W wouldn't go that full-on stupid. He would occasionally give analogies and get defensive but this seemed like unprepared rhetoric.

Did you see it?  Its a disaster. He starts accusing the left of being at fault, then said 'What next, we'll take down statues of George Washington?!"

God forbid we acknowledge leftist protesters illegally gathered and showed up with clubs and bear mace to assault vile people exercising the first amendment. How dare we acknowledge people like SLC showed up to commit felonies and were beat to the punch (pun intended).

Do you like killing liberals RF? Does that thought make you smile?

God forbid we call out the people who actually killed someone.

Sorry, as soon as you bring a Nazi flag to a rally and chant 'The Jews will not replace us", you lose your 'we were just exercising our free speech ammendment' card.

Or you could stop eating paint chips for a couple minutes and realize no one but the nazis and folks like SLC were advocating or celebrating violence. But that takes away the victim card the left enjoys so much.

The media wants to pretend everyone there protesting was a neo Nazi. They weren't. I sure as fuck wouldn't attend any rally where nazis were agreeing with me. I don't care about Lee's statue. Means nothing to me.  But you're not interested in truth. You're interested in a culture war.

What the nazis did was heinous. The idiots carrying torches like they're after Frankenstein's monster are disgraceful. But we have the 1st amendment in this country. They got a permit to exercise their constitutional right, regardless of how vile and horrible their speech was.

A group of radical leftist showed up illegally looking for a fight, as they have been for years. Anyone who says they don't have equal ownership on the violence this weekend is a liar and disingenuous. The act of one alleged skin head doesn't negate or excuse the actions of hundreds of other anarchists and nazis. They deserve to have their actions and behaviors condemned as well. Be an adult, not a child.

Except you don't. They're horrible human beings. You won't find any person who thinks Nazis are good people on this forum or any forum that isn't stormfront. But they have the same 1st amendment rights as the BLM morons or any other extreme group. If you don't acknowledge that, you're the fascist and threat to freedom and democracy. Intelligent people who support free speech don't show up with bats and masks ready to crack skulls.

Its getting massively bad. All Republicans are at a loss over this, and tweeting to distance from him. Report is he wasn't supposed to answer any questions, the briefing was to announce an Infrastructure EO, but he went rogue at the end & answered questions off the cuff.

Be interesting to see the fallout, surely many more CEO's will drop out of that Manufacturing committee, it was just a PR thing anyway, so no need to stay onboard. That'll surely look bad though, the thing will just fold. Curious if any staffers quit, just out of 'WTF is he doing?'.  If John Kelly told him not to take questions and he came outta there with that, surely he's gotta know he's in for it bad the next few months/years.
