Re: Current Events Thread
I thought Merrick Garland was embarrassing yesterday. Any news on him today?
Re: Current Events Thread
He's in a precarious position with these questions as he's trying not to alienate the far left because he can't get through without them, so it's understandable. The evasion that it's different to attack a court house during the day and attacking it at night determines whether or not it's political extremism/terrorism and just a crime was cringey. But he'll get through. I'm sure his private meetings will be a lot different. Even republicans who criticized those answers pretty much made it clear he's a good guy and he's getting through.

They never had the votes to get him on the court so it's a moot point. And his immigration stance is important seeing that the government is going to be sued over immigration, especially when someone gets in through the Biden administration's immigration policy and inevitably kills an American citizen.

Peter Doocy bringing the heat today. Talked about kids in cages. Okay for Biden, not Trump.

It didn’t matter who was nominated they would never get the votes.
Do immigrants get to sue when one of them is inevitably killed by the government or a domestic terrorist aka Trump supporter?

So Trump supporters are murdering illegal immigrants? And yes, their family can sue someone for killing a loved one. If the government is knowingly allowing folks with criminal histories, like drunk driving, and they kill your kid because of a DUI, the government should be responsible for that.

I predicted this last year.
They don't actually care about kids in cages...only when they can potentially score political points.
The cages were great under Obama...like Auschwitz under Trump....great under Biden.
In other news, Trump is supposedly going to announce soon that he will be the nominee in 2024.
I've said it since the day he announced her.... choosing Kamala was a huge fuck up. Someone running in 4th place in her own state cannot win the presidency.
She's not likeable and she's not electable. Period.
