Just heard about this. I'm a little suprised; Bowie was leading all week. I thought BJ wasn't going to do well because it leaked and I haven't heard any of the singles on the radio at all.

Yeah, honestly I have not been a fan of how Jon has sounded for the last decade plus. Yet he seems to get a free pass. He has completely changed his register on the classic tunes. They barely sound the same. Yet, Axl sings without rasp and he gets slammed. I don't really get it.

Cause jon blew his voice out over touring
Axl lost his due to being fat n lazy
It's called getting old. In either case I don't think the majority of fans thinks that deep about these things. Jon is a likeable guy, Axl is not. That would be my guess for why one is slammed and the other isn't.
On the other hand Axl actually has widespread cred as a musician.

I wouldn't call Jon likeable. Idk what he's like in real life, but he comes across as egotistical and self centered on every interview I've ever seen. I actually think that he's not respected for his music because of that massive ego rather than the content of his catalogue.
