Re: Video and tour in the works according to Rolling Stone
I always thought the album would come out some day. And now that someday is just around the corner.
"All we needed was just a little patience..."
I guess that true gn'r fans really knows what patience is all about now.So when someone ever complains about that they had to stand in the rain for about 15 f@*!in' minutes and wait for the bus to arrive, just tell them... Well, I had to wait for 'bout 14 f@*!in' years to see that new guns n' roses album arrive, so you better shut up.
Hopefully you weren't stood in the rain for the full 14 years though?

Get your jackets, it's gonna be a cold winter in hell!
14 tracks, the same amount as UYI II, the last original album. Very cool!
I personally think some tracks will be axed from the final list. We might be getting more than just 3-4 new songs.
All of this information is breaking right now, artwork is starting to surface, and it's Wednesday. I think the press release is imminent by Friday. A tour for 2009... hmmm... maybe a New Year's show, then a tour kicks off sometime in Q1? I'm thinking a reunion for summer is more likely.

Ok apparently this has been pulled from RS.com now. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned over and someone's just reigning RS in until it's official.

That's interesting coming from buzzsaw, who's bashed the new band on a regular basis, now suddenly is all interested in CD.
Just because CD is coming out doesn't mean the state of the new band is changing in any way. There is no band right now.
Don't be shocked if CD is just a 'studio representation' of the new band sessions. Doesn't mean there's a band at all. Just Axl and his session players.
