I actually met a redneck one time, seriously no lie - this guy had ALL the GN'R albums. His favorite? The Spaghetti Incident.
I about fell out of my fuckin' seat, but the guy fuckin' loved it. I was going to give him a hard time, 'til he said Human Being by far was the best track, and I thought "he knows what he's talking about", so I gave him pass.

I'm not a fan of stuff like Kanye because it has no substance (in my opinion), but popular music is very much like our economy right now...fucked. For that reason I HOPE CD will outsale Kanye's latest collection of nothing but it isn't likely.

It''s a tough guess. I'd go with Kanye because as has been stated that musics popular with younger teens nowadays. When we were younger, alot of us were rock fans, who also occasionally listened to Public Enemy, NWA, Run DMC or LL Cool J. Now it seems there's a majority of teens who listed to Kanye & 50 etc, who won't give rock the time of day.
CD will own in the 25+ white demo. Everything else would be West. I'd guess
Kanye West - 550,000
GnR - 350,000

It depends on who the artist is on the gold thing. It's not considered a success anymore, that's for sure. Only for artists who aren't household name is it still considered a big deal. If GNR only went gold, or Kanye, it would be a huge disappointment.

I think both Kanye AND GNR would be extremely upset with those numbers. GNR needs to approach the 800,000 mark that ACDC reached with Black Ice. 350k isn't even half of that, and would be a huge disappointment
