I don't think a Gay American Idol winner is gonna be the right singer for VR. No mater how much talent he has.
Actually Adam Lambert would be perfect for VR. He represents everything they need in vocalist, especially for their 'big' sound.
It'd like Freddie Mercury becoming the lead singer for Guns N' Roses.
Lambert has the vocals, he's probably the best i've seen come out of that HORRIBLE HORRIBLE program.
But like Buzz said, he'll go off and do a solo thing. Not hook up with washed up 40 year old has beens, still looking for that great Axl & Izzy-less album in them.
I also agree with Duff, that VR haven't recorded their best yet. They're better than Contraband & Libertad. I believe in them, and that they can do something really special.
As for Lambert, the question is going to become what kind of writer he is. Weiland sucked.
I just hope with Lambert that because of his type of vocals that don't go off and put him on Broadway. I'd like to see the guy cut some albums. I'd enjoy them most likely.
