there are 4 or 5 more parts....
watching this now... with OPEN eyes.. it's quite clear all the crazy shit about him was false. I believe every fucking word he says in this interview... except the shit about brooke sheilds. It all seems so obvious that he's gay. I'm not saying that with any negative connotations.. just.. the way he carries himself.. speaks.. hell even the way elizabeth taylor speaks about him... it's as if she knows, but is keeping her mouth shut.... he should have just come out.. i think he wanted at least some part of him to stay private.

with all the stuff i've watched and read over the last couple of days, it becomes painfully clear that michael jackson was  a misunderstood man who became a victim of his own immense fame, eccentricity.. and a tabloid media culture.

All the times i used to call "bullshit" when he would mention his skin color changing excuses.. the child molesting bullshit.. I feel so sorry that i ever doubted him.. and i think others should too.. this is all sooooo fucking sad...

he never should have been treated like this while he was alive... and now it's too late to make it up to the guy

Thanks for posting these. I'm gonna watch this Oprah interview later tonight. Haven't watched it since it aired. Like I mentioned in that other thread discussing that abused kid, like many others, I'm willing to take a fresh look at the MJ saga. There are red flags the size of the Andromeda galaxy hovering over his life, but some things don't add up and even though the sleeping with kids thing cant really be defended, his life(specifically before the first abuse allegation) deserves a second look.

tejastech08, glad you got to check out Dirty Diana...it's easily one of my favorites of his.  LOVE the way he sings it and Steve Stevens kicks ass on the guitar.

By the way to everyone who is tallking about Billie Jean, I love the song, LOVE IT ... BUT.... if I'm being honest Michael kind of stole that riff you love from a group called Hall and Oates.  The song was called "I Can't Go For That".  Go download it and listen for yourself.  According to one of the guys in Hall and Oates (I'm not sure which is which but the blonde headed guy, the asshole lol) he says Michael even told him "I stole your song" in a joking way about Billie Jean.

Just for the record Billie Jean BLOWS that song away.  I just thought some of you may find this interesting.

Thats actually my favorite Hall & Oates track.

By the way, Simply Red did a track where its the music from that song but with different lyrics. Very cool. I'll look for it on my comp and upload it.

Actually, even if it was lifted from that song, I don't think MJ stole it. The guys from Toto were session musicians on Thriller and brought quite a bit of that music to the table. Human Nature was brought to him almost completely ready minus those lyrics.

The beginning part of Stairway to Heaven was stolen too. 16

good shit... this is so weird..i've been MJ 24/7 for the last 2 days...ME!?
an open mind with some fresh perspective has led me to believe that while the sleeping with the random little kids was probably not the most intelligent move from a PR standpoint.. given how the public perceived him... i'm pretty sure it was harmless... he just wanted to show sick kids some love that maybe he was never shown by HIS father figure.. and in HIS mind it was completely innocent.. so why would other people think any different?

I realize Joe Jackson isn't going to win any father of the year awards anytime soon, but you wonder if it weren't for him would Michael have been as huge and successful as he became?  He pushed Michael to be the best.  He could've layed off and let him do his own thing and we never would've gotten to witness the greatness.  Obviously he seemed to be pushed a little too far and was robbed of any semblence of a normal life but I don't think Michael was completely against doing whatever it took to become a star.  After all he and his people planted stories about him and encouraged the tabloids to use the word "bizarre" describing him in their headlines.

I think he was fine with his station in life until the child molestation charges came about.  I don't think he ever fully recovered from that.  And I'd be willing to accept that he was innocent.  I could definitely see evil people going for the big payday and taking advantage of Michael as a generous and easy target.  But his eccentricities didn't really help his cause in the court of public opinion.  And he really didn't help himself by admitting that it was the greatest thing in the world to share your bed.  Even if you believe that, you should know enough to not publically admit that.  He should've distanced himself from children altogether after the first trial but he continued on doing what he thought was good.

As for his sexual preference, I'd lean more towards asexual than homosexual.  He just didn't seem like a sexual person on either side of the fence.  He was a loving person no doubt, but he didn't give off a sexual vibe.  They aired the Martin Bashir interview last night and he described how when he was 9 or 10 he would share a room with his brothers and they'd bring back girls and have sex with them while he pretended to sleep (per their orders).  He said how the girls would see him (pretending to) sleep and they'd ask "Is that little Michael?  He's so cute."  He seemed very embarassed by the whole situation, maybe that turned him off to sex.

As brilliant an entertainer as he was and as huge a star the world has ever known, it might be safe to say that he was never truly happy.  He led a glamorous yet tragic life.  It's really a sad story and unfortunately I don't see it having a happy ending, at least apart from the music.

Think about it, it's the late 60's, free love is everywhere, and he's headlining the Apollo, landing #1 in the charts. He was probably seduced by 15-19 yr old groupies, myb did drugs, and probably lost his virginity to them at that age. But he was so young, it didn't do anything for him, he wasn't interested in it by 12 or 13, and became in denial. Not wanting to have an interest in sex anymore. The gay rumors, yeah, there could be some truth to that as well, I'm sure that's possible Myb even likely.

He wasn't fucking girls at any age. Like Faldor just posted(and was also in that book I read), his brothers were fucking girls around him during his childhood and this probably lead to his issues with women.

If he had sex with any women, they would have come forward during his peak when the tabloids were offering tons of money to anyone with a MJ story. He also wouldn't have used Shields as an example of a female sexual conquest, which everyone and their grandma knew didn't happen, and she even had to publicly state it never happened.

The child abuse allegations definitely ruined his career, even the quality of his musical output.

If we're going to take the Brasheer info at face value, didn't he say he thought Jackson was gay?

He wasn't asexual. Asexuals don't look at pornography. I don't even remember any details regarding pornography, but Feldman mentioned it but I don't know what other examples exist.

Wouldn't men have come forward if they were having sex with him too though?  Did Michael just pay them off enough to keep them quiet?  I would think the press would pay quite hadsomely to drag the King of Pop's name through the mud in a gay scandal or two.

I've wondered that same thing as well, and the main reason I always believed the abuse allegations. No men or women ever came forward, and alarm bells start ringing with that fact.

There's no way this guy went 50 years without sex. Basheer seems to think he was gay, but we don't really have any facts to prove that. Gossip isn't gonna cut the mustard either. Pics are gonna need to surface at some point.

Well he had sex with Debbie Rowe twice at least right, allegedly?  I don't recall Bashir saying he thought he was gay in that hour long interview, did he do that afterward?
