I think some of you have just become too jaded as to how the Paris Hilton's & the Britney Spear's of the world operate. Erin Andrews is nothing like that. If she wanted some pub, she could probably get 8 figures to pose in The Playboy college football edition. I really think this is just a case of a really respectable, hard working woman fighting back after some perv invaded her privacy. It's actually kind of disturbing to me that some of you are turning this around on her.

I think it's a shame it happened to her, no doubt. I'd be severely upset if it was my girlfriend, wife or sister, or even if it was me myself. It's creepy, and disturbing to know someone was watching you, when you thought they weren't.
But I also have a brain too.
When NO ONE paid any attention to it, just let it die. By bringing this up, she's actually giving the video, and the person who made it and leaked it, more attention, which is probably what they wanted to begin with. She's hurting her own cause by dragging it out of oblivion, to make an issue out of it, simply because some drooling lawyer saw a pay day, and convinced her to.
That's why alot of people are turning this around on her. It almost comes across like she sees a publicity tool, and doesn't want it to cool off too much, so it can be used.
It seems twisted, but it isn't logical. If you're embarassed by it, humiliated by it (not that she should be, she looks great), or want to catch the pervert to protect other women, why dig it back up?
If that's why she's doing it, my hat's off to her. She's got alot of spirit, and alot of guts. I can honestly say I would NOT do the same in the same situation.
If this is about justice, she's sacrificing herself, her body, and her reputation just to make a point.

It IS the first time, as far as I know. It's been on the net for like 6 months, the one clip, but didn't get exposed to the masses somehow until now. There is NO comparison to a sextape or nude pictures. Those things are done willfully and with consent. The parties involved KNEW they were taped or photographed. That is NOT what happened here. Some guy stalked her, found out where she was staying and set up a camera to record through the peephole of her hotel room. I don't see how you can relate that to her trying to gain publicity off the situation.
Also, I remember reading an article about a year ago how she took legal action against a "fan" who grabbed her chest during a photo opportunity. She was nice enough to take a picture with a "fan" and he groped her. As an attractive woman in a male dominated sports world I'm sure she takes a lot of shit for just being a pretty face and people probably don't take her seriously. She probably could pose for Playboy or Maxim or something, but that doesn't appear to be her goal. She seems to want to be taken seriously and won't stand for guys grabbing her or taking video of her in the privacy of her hotel room. Not sure she can be blamed for any of that.
