im sure madagas will be right with all of you in the bitching when something goes wrong - i will and i know we were in the past when gnr were the most inactive band in the world but the time for that is not now. if you were in a  thread bitching about how gnr doesn't communicate with the fans or doesn't promote itself - i'd join in and, if not, I would't interrupt your bitching with pro gnr propoganda/"axl is the greatest" so don't do the oppposite.

dont make me bump the positive thread

Do it.  Give the guys with their heads buried in the sand somewhere to hang out in peace.

anyway i dont care what anyone says... GnR gearing up for a tour is cool 22

And that is great.  I'd be excited about it if they were coming anywhere near me too...and I'd go see the show no matter who else liked it.  But I wouldn't demand everyone be as excited as am am about something that has let people down so many times in the past.

still you cant blame the ones who've been disappointed time after time whenever the band has toured previously....i'm actually surprised that sandman has turned positive this time around, i hope they make it to philly for ya sandman smile

Exactly.  It's not negative to discuss a negative situation, is it?  Is it negative to discuss past negative experiences?  You guys can go hide somewhere else if you want positive...I'm settling for the reality that we have.  That reality is mostly negative.  You guys asked for a response and you got it.  Tough shit if you don't like it.

perfect example right there buzz

who's heads are buried in the sand and why?

you're the one out of touch at this point. stop throwing slogans around and go toe to toe with one of us and back it up with something new and original.

what's negative to you is positive to others so learn to let it be when it's subjective or opinion. we all know the shows aren't sold out but some of us are ok with it. you aren't and that's great but move on already.

my next door neighbor knows your opinions - stop shoving them down our throats already

i agree with madagas
this "realist" stance is bs
as is the now"cutting through the bs" stance

it has nothing to do with bs or rose colored glasses

it's about negativity, respect, and timing

The situation is negative.  I respect that.  The timing is irrelevant because quite frankly, it's always negatative.  It doesn't matter when I post, there's a negative aura around GnR.  I didn't create it, I just understand it.

madagas adn teh rest of us on this side know as much as the rest of you what is wrong with gnr/axl

we just don't dwell on it or point it out when it is irrelevant and that is the timing piece

You don't get to decide what is relevant to me.

gnr is touring cd finally!!!!!!!!

For the third or fourth time.  That isn't finally, that's again.

that's one positive thing that some of us would like to enjoy

we are not making you enjoy it so don't force your negativity on us, especially when it is I R R E L E V A N T

I'm not forcing anything on you.  I'm not doing anything you're not doing in fact.  I'm posting my opinions on an internet board just as you are.  I don't agree with yours, but I'm not telling you not to post them.  It's your right, just as it's my right to post mine.

You want to talk about respect?  Respect my right to voice my opinion even if you don't like it.  I don't do it all the time...you just think I do.  My post count is way down and anybody can verify that for you.

I think that's the point though Buzz, this isn't a negative situation. Sure past experience has taught us to be cautious. However to declare the reality as mostly negative when it hasn't even happened yet is going a bit far imo.

This is a thread about ticket sales.  I posted that the tickets aren't selling.  Then I got jumped on.
