Yeah in hind site this guy came across as a bit genuine as he posted an exact place and names of people he claimed Axl was at on the page before. Much more info than the average game player.
I welcome insiders with real info. But I can't complain about people calling out those other types that come on and talk in riddles, rhymes and are clearly just on some kind of trip.
If you have real info, share it, do it anonymously if needed, but there is no reason to resort to mind games.

He may not have necessarily been an insider, could have been a hoarder. Either way it is a shame we pushed someone who potentially had interesting info away.
Yup I feel that the system has failed. If it fails one of us it Fails us all. What are we if not a Fraternity of Brothers and Sisters United under the Flag of Musical Integrity and our Duty to our fellow man?

^ I agree, but the problem is, for every one like that guy who apparently knew the real songs, and the real names and faces involved, there are 10 posers like Imposter, who will log on and quote the verse of Old Mother Hubbard or some other nursary rhyme, and then ask you to guess what it means.

Yup and that's the problem. Its the nature of the beast. Its a lot easier to bullshit a group of people when you know you never have to meet them face to face. Ergo A truckloads of keyboard jockeys who like to stir it up online. Remember Bucketheader? Boiled my blood.
Well anyway, I see it as like the education system. Its not exactly flawed but unless every member pulls their weight and does their duty there will be those who will fall through the cracks.
At least Demolition knows he was right. The difference between Demolition and Imposter is that when Demolition types those 11 little user-name letters into the login box, he is doing so to contribute positivity to the group and to raise the value of the group interactions.
Come log-off time hes gonna feel a lot better for giving that to the community regardless of whether people believe in it or pick up on it. When the Imposter/Bucketheader guy logs off, he knows he is a ass with nothing of value to offer.

However, for the sake of not looking like an idiot, people should relax on the "Bullshiiit!!" and "faaaake" comments just incase. Rather explain the situation and tell them in a nice way that it's not easy to trust "anyone".
I don't consider myself an "idiot" for calling people out on their bullshit. In some cases, I would actually research the crap they were spewing. Most notable example was on ROV when some guy in 2006 came there and said a radio station in Alaska was playing not a demo, but the SINGLE of I.R.S. Since 2006 was active, some started believing it. His explanation was that Alaska was the first station to do it, and had played it before it was time for all stations to play it. My bullshit detector went off the scales, and while in for repairs, I called this station. Not only a call, but talked to the head honcho there. Not only did they NOT have a GNR single, they never even played the demo. 
I then called this guy out on his bullshit on the forum, and of course to no ones surprise he vanished and was never seen there again.
Had no one called 'bullshit', this loser would have jacked off to fan excitement for days.
Like stephen, I do applaud those who sometimes give little snippets of info. Like madagas, I know that various people in or around the GNR camp and UMG monitor these sites(including this one). However, the real ones don't prance around yelling "look at me!!!!!" with dick in hand ready for a long masturbation session. They either lurk, post normally, or send a PM.
