I'd exchange that RRHOF with 15 unreleased songs from Chi Dem, Nikki. There's just THAT much joy in re-watching a RRHOF video for the next 10 years. I'd rather have something longer.

I don't get the fuzz, I really don't. So what if they all come and do it. Axl, Slash, Duff. History is history and it will never be 1987 again, no matter how hard you try. It will be cool, but for what, 10 minutes or something and then it's all over. People are so fucking focused on re-creating something that was, and will never be again. It won't matter if they are together playing or not, it won't take you time travelling back to 1987. Axl is 50 and Slash is chubby and Duff is a writer while Steven is fucked up. That's how it is. No, RRHOF can fuck off, give me 15 Chinese songs and another succesfull tour. At least it lasts longer.

It's like we all haven't jerked off for 15 years and when the oppertunity finally comes it's like a two second orgasm by just looking at some titties and then you're done and like "ok...so what now??".

slash is chubby? lol

bullshit

good for axl, that`s he`s happy with his new line up, but all this "back to the roots" stuff cries for a reunion!

I agree... bullshit.

Normally anyday of the week i'd agree with DCK on reunions and people's obsession with "going back", and from personal experience -- you can never ever go back.

But in this case... THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Even if it's closing the books, the finale to GN'R as they were remembered, coming full circle, etc.

DCK's argument for "I don't get the fuzz" about the mini-reunion... well frankly I could say the exact same thing about Chinese Democracy after 2008.

All that hype thinking we were getting Physical Graffitti.... and we got Coma.

So until Axl's ACTUALLY FOCUSED on new music... i'd rather see him performing the classics with the guys who actually wrote them.

Let me re-phrase. I'm sure will be a superb moment in history, GNR finally re-united for like 10 minutes on stage. It will be a final great closing chapter for the old band. I get all that. I will be the first in line to watch it, and rejoice over it. It's gonna be great. But there's nothing more in it. It's a closing chapter, Axl doing the old hits with the old guys. For the nostalgic part, for the fans, and for the press it's all super duper. But it got nothing in it for the future. It's just a trip down memory lane, a thing we all wanted - now happening for 10 minutes.

I would be more enthusiastic if this RRHOF thing is a first step towards a new album with the old guys, a reunion, something to look forward to. Some kind of plan to keep going for a few more years. It's just not, they are doing it for an award show (if they are doing it). They're not doing it because they got together and decided "hey, let's do this". No, they're doing it based on them being put in a position where it's hard to say "no".

Alright?

And Axl is never good when he is forced. Axl is animal-like that way. If you try to force him or push him somewhere, he instantly goes all out asshole and don't wanna play ball. Axl's on board with this, most likely, because he knows the fans are dying to see it, and believe it or not, Axl cares a lot about the fans even though he doesn't show it in the right way and at the right moment. Axl respects this deal, and if it happens, it's because the fans want him to do it, and that he's pushed into a corner where there's no way out. I don't like it, and I didn't want a reunion happening just because some corporate award, respectfull or not, put them in that place.

And as for Chinese Democracy after 2008. New songs are new songs. Old songs are old songs. I've heard them before. I don't care about the quality of it, or the lack of big guns or that it's a complete failure. I want to hear something I haven't heard before. It gives me more than a reunion for ten minutes.

But, I will watch it, enjoy it, record it, and play it over and over again like the rest of us will. It probably needs to happen as well.

But to me, it didn't happen the right way.

The RRHOF reunion would be one of the greatest moments of rock music, especially in the sad past decade. Even if they'd suck. It'd be greater than anything that happened in the GN'R land since the UYI twins. Even if it's only a 15 minute performance, even if it's the final chapter and it's all they'd do together for the rest of their lives. Releasing CD left-overs is very minor, compared to this, and, which is more important, the RRHOF reunion would have no effect on a 'planned' new Axl album, except the brand 'Guns N' Roses' would get so much publicity that it'd only help the sales.

BTW Slash chubby? 16

It's not the 'your hero is fatter than mine' game. Slash of today looks like someone who goes to the gym every day. Axl looks like someone who... does not. He still looks great for his age. But the 'Slash is chubby' shit is... so Axlite. no wonder that your kind is so free to form any opinion, when even in the most simple cases you can see a different reality. Where is your stargate?
BTW I don't care about their weight, it's other people's interest, but your argument is ridiculous.

Do u wanna do Axl again...or?

Here's my Stargate btw..a chubby Richard Dean Anderson. He can kick Axl's ass though even if he's old.

How old is that Slash picture? Five years? That's where your argument fails. Youtube videos prove your Axlite love fest wrong even more. I don't care about Axl's weight. No. He's a singer, not a top model. But bullshitting that Slash is fat, is a new Axlite low point. You'll crave even deeper, I'm sure. Good luck. Maybe you'll get a backstage pass one day.
