Re: Current Events Thread
Saw Bolton called the Atlantic article a lie. Glad to see so many confident in its accuracy from anonymous sources. It's not like the previous administration's intel leaders has egg on their face from the lies and dishonesty. There's also irony in a bunch of people who repeatedly attack wounded veterans and mock them, feigning outrage at the mere suggestion Trump behaves like them. Does anyone forget the horrible things Democrats said about McCain?

Remember all the terrible things Trump said?
Re: Current Events Thread
You mean when he ended flights from China while Democrats and Biden called him a xenophobe. Or when he ended flights from Europe while Cuomo and DeBlasio were telling NYers to go out and not worry. Which is it. You guys don't get to have it both ways.

Cuomo & DeBlasio arent in charge of the entire nation nor do they sit in on daily briefings with the CDC & HHS
Re: Current Events Thread
The audio is from February 7th. What was the WHO and CDC saying on February 7th? Time lines matter. You folks don't get to rewrite history because it's inconvenient. And how dangerous is COVID? 4% of the deaths the US tracked are actual COVID deaths. What is the mortality ratio in the US to other countries? What is the testing ratio? You all avoided these discussions in the COVID thread and giggled at each other's posts taunting a death count. How does the US count deaths compared to other nations? If you're going to try to go down this road, at least put in the effort posters like Wagszilla did. Or don't be upset when people point our your intellectual defects.
Cuomo and DeBlasio are responsible for New York, where the outbreak occured after they downplayed it. Can you name a single thing Trump should have done that he didn't do? Not even Biden can make that claim. 80% of those dead are over the age of 70 and a similar stat is limited to those in nursing homes. I know Democrats like to believe in abuse of federal power for all things on their radar, but somehow Trump lacks the authority to keep illegals out of our country, but can force every state to adopt this unnamed policy that would have done what? What countries handled COVID better and what did they do that caused that?
I just love the same people who celebrated Russian collusion jump on the next bandwagon. Evidence doesn't matter. Just blind partisan rhetoric.
Half of you didn't get your flu shot last year. Most of you wouldn't get a COVID vaccine if it existed. But somehow Trump is to blame because you can't wash your hands, or are a 75 year old in a nursing home with 3 comorbidities.
