So, your ticket says the show starts at 9 PM. Well, Axl doesn't play at 9 PM. His track record's more than proven that. And yet people still show up to GN'R shows expecting the band to take the stage "on time," even though being on time for Axl is still a few hours down the line. When I go to a GN'R show, I don't really expect the band to hit the stage before 11 PM. And, leaving unrealistic and assholish expectations at the door, I always have a great time. It's a rock n' roll show, for chrissakes. Thing's didn't used to be such corporately structured, pre-scheduled, neat, tight, and polite bullshit. Apparently I'm the last one left who a) doesn't expect the band to ever play "on time" and b) doesn't really want them to. Just wanted to put that out there, because it seems to be a sticking point in attacking Axl and I've always thought it's bullshit. You know buying a ticket to a GN'R show that it's not happening on time and may not be happening at all. That's part of the danger and part of the allure. They're not Daughtry. You probably won't be home and in bed by 11 PM.

Whoa, that's a big statement there. Maybe I need to let it sink in some more, but I was really underwhelmed by Scream. Maybe it gets better with future listens.

I guess it's only a big statement depending on how into Down to Earth and Black Rain you are. I actually do think Scream requires multiple listens, but I really appreciate what Gus G brings and think Ozzy has a tremendous backing band on this outing. But I went into Scream with absolutely no expectations whatsoever and actually didn't pick up the album itself till it had already been out for a little while. Now it doesn't leave the car.

Mr. Neemo, I have traversed a treacherous sea of horrors to be with you here tonight.

Nah, I'm good. Thanks for asking. Yourself?

I disagree. I think Scream is easily Ozzy's best album since Ozzmosis, if not No More Tears. However, I do agree "Time" is probably the album's standout. At least for now.

According to Emirates247.com, GUNS N' ROSES will play on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, later this year. The concert is being organized by Flash Entertainment as part of a slew of events around the Etihad Airways Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. GUNS N' ROSES will perform on December 16. Ticket prices will begin at Dh150 (around $41).

Former GUNS N' ROSES bassist Duff McKagan joined Axl Rose onstage for the first time in seventeen years last week (Thursday, October 14) in London.

Rumors of a GUNS N' ROSES reunion with the classic lineup have been swirling for years. Rose told Billboard.com in 2009 that he doesn't ever expect to play again with guitarist Slash, saying, "One of the two of us will die before a reunion. However sad, ugly or unfortunate anyone views it, it is how it is."

Rose and original GN'R rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin played a few shows in 2006.
