Whose guitar part is that on the album? Robin? And what kind of guitar is that? Also, is that a wah, or some other effect?

Even Collins himself seems to think that he wasn't all that, telling FHM, "I'm sorry that it was all so successful. I honestly didn't mean it to happen like that. It's hardly surprising that people grew to hate me."

What's up with that? I see a mention about him breaking up with a wife via fax, but I don't think I've heard any noise of people hating him. The guy was a hit machine for a long time. He put out some great music.

Yeah. And I'm not suggesting that they'd ever play it live or anything with Dave, only that the song itself sounded like a pretty solid old school VH track.

Never heard that til now, but it is a pretty cool song. It would actually fit Dave's voice too.

Nice interview Ron.....all that cd era stuff is the property of UMG and Black Frog/Axl so any release will require approval by both parties. Good luck with that!
I don't know a ton about the biz, but is that true? So, UMG can/could be the ones locking down the vault?

Nice mick. 
I understand how the topic turns that way, but it's getting predictable to read about how "nice" Axl is. Who really cares anymore? It'd be nicer to hear words like "prolific" and "everywhere" he is. I wish it didn't seem like fans were a burden to him and Guns. (the entity, not the other players)

I love Slash a ton, but that album of his did nothing for me. I'm fine with all his appearances and stuff, but I think he really benefits from a group setting as far as song craft goes.
I'll always follow the whole crew, and check out anything they do, but I'm finally starting to resign myself to the possibility that NONE of them will ever do anything mind blowing again.
