The only way a reunion will ever happen is if Izzy initiates it.
Don't see that happening though to be honest. Think he's pretty happy doing his solo gig, has no resentment that we know of to any member past or present. Asking Axl to call up Slash would probably make him lose contact for another 14 years 
edit: Not saying that Izzy wouldnt do a reunion, and I agree that he is the key to ever getting it off the ground. I just don't see Izzy actively taking on the role of messenger boy for ego and ego (axl and slash)

I have an early demo from back in the day that leaked online kickin around on CD somewhere. I cant remember the singers name now but the tune was called "Pleasin", which it certainly wasnt. Kinda catchy though....

Haha how dare you. Quit yer jibberjabber and I'll upload a basic Slash skin in the next 30 minutes. Wont be anything special, just a clone of the AFD skin with Slash images instead sorta thing.
As James said we have been planning a new design for a while now. I've worked on and off on multiple redesigns but never found one that would sit quite right. Elmir did a kickass mockup for a new design too which we're going to play with I think 
If anyone has any ideas/mockups then throw them in this thread

So let me get this straight, Guns N' Roses is conspiring with a major soft drink company in a plot to cover up the exact nature of the status of a cd that has been in production for 13 years?

Since when has a lead guitar player left GNR without any comment?
I didn't say Robin had left GNR. I said GNR released those updates prior to Trent making his announcement as damage control for Robin going out on tour with Trent, and basically nailing the coffin shut for an album release in 2008.
With GNR not planning anything in the near future Robin decides to take Trent up on the opportunity to tour. It's forced Axl out of his silence.
Dr. Pepper was a clever smokescreen for the news that Chinese Democracy wont be coming out anytime soon. I doubt anyone at Dr. P gives a shit about GNR, but will gladly work with them to gain free exposure to millions of people.
Idk, maybe Im being to paranoid

I'd wait for a comment from Irving Azoff before jumping into too drastic conclusions. Come ol' boy, this is your first on GNR damage control! Show some of that professionalism!
I think they managed GNR damage control pretty well. We endure months of silence followed by three bullshit updates so fans believe the ChiDem release may finally in motion.
Imo, GNR knew in advance that Robin was planning to head back out on tour with NIN so they had to throw together a few updates prior to Trent making his announcement.
Months of absolute silence followed by news that the lead guitarist was heading out on a world tour with NIN would have killed the fanbase.
Azoff and Gould have probably been on board for a few months but withheld making an announcement until the release was actually in motion.
I'm not expecting an update from GNR on this. Nor am I expecting my free Dr. Pepper. I'll just enjoy a few months of silence

Just another bump in the road to Chinese Democracy. My guess is that Trent only invited Robin back to get his hands on some Chi Democracy demos so he could leak it and get one over on Axl

If Bach is chosen as the singer it won't bridge gaps between Axl and Slash. Read the original post in this thread again:

Axl has to be considered just as erratic imo. If Slash cant work with Scott I don't see him (or Axl for that matter) suddenly deciding to work together again simply because Bach is friends to both.
If VR is legally obliged to turn in one more record to the label they should call up Izzy and have those studio takes from 2000 remastered. Izz took vocal duty on the tracks and they could easily record and mix Dave into the fold. Slash spoke of the demos as being the closest-to-GNR sound recorded. Izz originally offered to tour with Slash, Duff and Matt providing it was a low-key, rent-a-van-and-hit-the-road style tour 
I'd take Bach fronting VR over Scott any day of the week. I've never been able to enjoy VR (recorded or live) as I find Scotts vocals bland and uninspiring - and not in a cool Keef-esque way either
