i kind of see this as a sign of things to come in a way....never cared about the book...think he's an ok-ish writer....but it wouldn't surprise me if Axl based more songs off some of his stories....so the fact that its getting re-printed and is becoming available could slowly mean that the band camp is preparing for some media campaign in the near future....

but then again....millions of people have been cashing in on the gnr name recently, so why shouldn't Del do it as well....

not sure, i bought it in one of those "specials" where you get an Axl book with it....so it wasn't too much for me....about 30US$ for both...

not denying what you said....you're right...he did say that...its official....but in his book...he didn't contradict himself....he merely said that if axl was easier to deal with....he would have done things he doesn't like doing....such as an industrial sound....

he never implied or said that he all of a sudden likes the new gnr sound, or that he was all for it.....on the contrary in fact....

that's why i dont see it as a contradiction.....but...each to their own i suppose...

what pisses me off about these things is how no one at at that other place considers these performances a shameless punt on their gnr fame in order to pull more seats at these gigs and sell records.....yet when slash mentions gnr or axl rose in an interview...he is using gnr to promote himself and his new band....
