Ok, not sure where to put this, so if this is the wrong section feel free to (re)move it.

I recently had two 3-hour recording sessions with my band in the studio we rehearse in. It's a low-end, mostly analogue studio but as a rehearsing space it kicks ass. The songs are just what we felt like playing when we were there, so not really a good cross-section of our music, but hey... if it feels good smile.

The mixing was done on the spot in like 15 minutes, so it sucks ass. The guitars are slightly out of tune in some sections, and almost everything was done in one take. So don't expect to much off it.
BTW: we're a six-piece band with two lead vocalists (one male, one female), one rhythm guitar, one lead (me), one bass and drums.

So, have a listen and feel free to post your criticism.

*edit*: added a song ("Let Go") which is actually very much a work in progress. Just piano & vocals for now, lots of bad notes, off-key singing and all that... but it should give you an idea about this piano ballad.
I have to admit, I don't quite know how to mould this into a real song yet smile.

This fucker does sound confident doesn't he? I still think he's talking out of his ass (but I nonetheless hope it's true smile ).

Strange thing for me is that I never cry when bad stuff happens in a movie. I do get misty-eyed pretty easily with a happy ending. The end of the first Rocky movie would be a good example :wtf:

He looks so much cooler now... amazing, it's like all of the sudden he has charisma and presence.

Or, in this case, it means your not a fucking band at all. No bond, no comradery, nothing more than an employer-employee relationship. That sorta takes the magic away from it all, doesn't it? GNR used to stand for something, the music was juvenile and angsty because that's who they were. Now it's business, and that irks me.

Holy shit, 14 years? Never before have I felt so old as I do now...
My remark probably isn't too relevant then huh wink.

It's not Kiedis... Remember the RHCP/Navarro fiasco a couple of years back? He doesn't function with anyone except the original RHCP team.

Are the videos offline? Are they hosted anywhere else, in a non-microsoft friendly format? I'm having trouble seeing them, and this seems like interesting news.
