As many lawsuits that GNR have been in, and as pissy as Axl can be about these things, there is no way that a company does this without his prior knowledge. He would have been extremely pissed if he got word of this via the internet. Remember what he said at RIR in 2001? "The internet is one big garbage can".

YEah I absoultely believe this is the year now. I dont believe Axl would have responded to this, if not. How often does he respond to anything? Usually they'll just have the offending thread deleted from HTGTH, or a quick one line about the rumor. THis made it all the way to the official website. This has gotten me excited again. I cant believe it...

Yeah I think its a good move and should give us a solid #2. We have really been playing with fire with our backups the last few years behind Eli. Hopefully Carr never sees action, unless its in garbage time though.

The Giants just signed David Carr to be Eli Manning's backup. 1 year deal for $1 million. I like the signing, but hope Carr never sees action. Hard to believe that with Favre retiring, Eli has started the third most amount of games in a row for a QB currently in the NFL, behind Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady.

I'll never give up. I will go through fazes where I am more interested and am on the boards more often and other times when I am not. I am going through a faze where I check in periodically. It can be very dis-heartening to think of what happened to our band. Sometimes it can be better for me to step back for a while for my own health, cause I just love this band so fucking much.
