Li Jianpeng, age 6, was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes - 7 fingers on his left hand, 8 on his right, and 8 toes on each of his feet! He recently endured five hours of surgery to have the extra digits removed. This is fortunate, because children at school had been calling him a “monster.” However, Li is most excited for his feet to fit into a normal pair of shoes!

A SIX-year-old Chinese boy has undergone surgery to remove an extra five fingers and six toes, Sky News reported.

Li Jinpeng was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes - seven fingers on his left hand, eight on his right and eight toes on each foot.

It took doctors in Shenyang, Liaoning, five hours in the operating theater to remove Li's extra digits.

Surgeon Tian Lijie said: "We have successfully completed the operation as anticipated. The shape of Li's fingers and toes improved greatly."

Medical staff believe his condition may have been caused by genetic mutation of problems during pregnancy. His parents had been advised to wait until the boy was older before he had surgery.

But Li was bullied at school over his extra fingers and toes, with many classmates branding him a "monster".

I went to college with a girl with about 7 fingers. She was hot too! Seriously though I had speech class with her freshman year. She was sitting next to me and had one of those pens with 4 different colors (red, blue, orange, green or so) and was taking amazing notes. Each line was a different color:

I. Speech
A. Intro
B. Class
1. Good
2. Fun
C. Professor
1. Good
2. Class
2. Syllabus

etc etc. Each level in a new color, and perfect handwriting. Well, I kept glancing over at her notes, just kinda curious, I always had terrible handwriting. Then, I started to think "This girls probably thinking I'm nuts for staring at her.." because she's cute. So I became aware, but again, my curiousity kept getting the best of me. Well, again it's the first day of class, and I look over a few more times. Something hit me, it just didn't seem right. So now I really didn't want to look back over!! But I swear I only saw 3 fingers on her hand?! A few minutes go by and I glance back. Sure enough, yeah, 3 fingers. Now I'm ashamed because she probably thinks I was staring at her hands all along, which wasn't the case. Anyway, we did get to be kindof friends, and in one of her speeches she said her Mother had taken some medicine which was popular at the time. I can't recall the name but I know you can google it. Caused alot of birth defects. Ashame.
