Richard probably is just imitating Paul Tobias' list, which lists Kala as one of the best ever.

Its not all that shocking it made his list, although I guess he earns a brownie point for having good taste. Its an amazing album, and its one that crosses all the boundaries such as age, race, sexual orientation,etc. Go to one of her shows. Its a melting pot of people there. Its why I say if this had been released in the 90's, it would be selling millions right now. A fanbase that consists of kids all the way up to people in their 40's means there is more interest there than what the album sales are showing.
