Never won anything in my life except a couple of chocholates 20 years ago, and boom, there I go and win a free trip to any European city, two people incluced. Boom, touchdown. Birthday this year will be great. Free stuff are the best.

I was in Barna for the Champions League finals and the claiming of Catalonya Plaza last May.
A totally wonderful city, but then again, I hung out with the locals, slept wherever, etc.
Tourism's a problem there, as hotels are being built instead of schools and public services. The locals are getting the short end of the stick, as Guardia Urbana is more interested in keeping the streets clean for wealthy outsiders with money to burn than helping the people out in making living there a bit easier.
If you go there, try an open mind. Leave the beaten track for a bit and check out the culture centers ran by ordinary folks. I loved Artkatraz myself, saw some glorious theatre there, with no extra charge.

i've only been to lisbon & barca from the list. but barca is a great fucking city. i'd try & get out there a couple of times a year as there's a few of my mates have immigrated there. it's the most fun, sexiest city i've ever been to.
heading to budapest next year for the F1..
