Re: "Cornell IS on Slash's new Record" - Josh Freese
Wow !!! Its looking good now! I remember we talked about all of this a while ago. We put together through tweets from the 2 artists and it made sense. Anyway Heres the Quote and the Link

On a related Guns N' Roses note, you're recording with Slash. How's that going?
"It's awesome. He's making kind of a Santana record with a bunch of different singers. There's an Ozzy track, an Iggy Pop track, a Fergie track…Chris Cornell's going to be on it. As of now, I'm the only drummer on it, but you never know..."
Re: "Cornell IS on Slash's new Record" - Josh Freese
I'm interested in hearing that. Iggy Pop and Ozzy too. This could be a very good record and I hope it and think it will be. All but Fergie.. ehhh. I'd hit it but I don't wanna hear it on a Slash album.
Don't sweat friend all is not lost she appeared on Perry Farrells last solo effort. You can't even make her out in the mix. Im hoping it might be the same here. I know I get a little youtube happy but fuck it. To help set your mind at ease Ill post the tune she on.
I do't wanna hear her on the record either but Id be happy to See her in the album art booklet. Maybe this is Slashs way of approaching downloading. Picture of sexy lady in the Physical package. Good incentive.
Wish upon a Dog star - (With Fergie supposedly)
((on a side-note This band was great Perry on Vocals and Nuno f*ckn Bettencourt on the G-tar))

Man this album is sounding better and better. All but Fergie. As BLS said I'd hit it but I'm not up to hearing Fergie on a Slash album.
Re: "Cornell IS on Slash's new Record" - Josh Freese
It's gonna be a cool album.
Re: "Cornell IS on Slash's new Record" - Josh Freese
She's not going to be "buried" trust me. She's the crossover hit on the album. The song they hope will be like Kid Rock & Sheryl Crowes "Picture" or Tob Thomas & Santanas "Smooth". I wouldn't be surprised if there's one or two other "pop" stars on it. Anyway, at least Fergie has performed with him before, and somewhat has ties to him. Not just a name pulled out of a hat ro by some suits. I agree though, I'm prob looking for other singers on it, than her. I bet someone else helps "write" the lyrics to her song anyway.
