Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
UFOs and aliens my ass. This is obviously a U.S. "black project" being unveiled. I've seen tons of UFO footage over the years, but this one is breathtaking. There's no way its a hoax. Also looks like some sort of new propulsion system is being used here. Watch how the "contrails" break off and separate at key points. It also uses Stealth technology, but obviously that is nothing new.
If a major war ever breaks out involving the major powers, you're gonna be seeing a lot of these things raining laser shit storms on a few parades.
Obviously open to debate, but in my opinion this looks like a "dry run" being delivered over a Chinese city.
Personally I think these projects(and others) should have been publicly unveiled years ago(like the B1, F117, B2,etc. in the 80s), but I guess we needed a few surprises up our sleeves.
At least those massive military budgets the past few decades are paying off.

Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
Couple of things interest me:
#1: I would assume you are right that the usa has sophisticated weapons not yet on public display. However, is this the way they would reveal them, by antoginisticly flaunting them over another countries soverign airspace? Especially a proud people like the chinese who I understand place an imortance on public apperance and so on and might take it as an attempt to mock or otherwise humiliate them. Even with better weapons, surely the USA would not want to provoke a nation like china into a conflict in this manner.
#2 How do we know it's not a test of a chinese plane?
#3 I'm not much for plane knowledge, but does the first video show a plane with special abilities beyond what could be a funny angle on any known plane? I'm just saying i'm not seeing like x-flies type stuff on that first video, but maybe i've just watched too many movies and dont understand what i should be looking for. I'm just saying like, could it be a normal jet flying in wierd weather from a shit angle or something?
Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
No its not a normal jet. Watch how it moves in the first vid. No jet/bomber in any country's public arsenal can do that.
China isn't sophisticated enough to have this type of aircraft. They aren't even using stealth technology on a mass scale. Randall Flagg who is our military expert here would agree with this. While China does have a decent military, their massive amount of ground troops is its main selling point, not its air force or navy.
The U.S. and Russia fly close and sometimes in to other countries airspace. This can technically be construed as an act of war but both sides have been doing it for decades to test the defensive capabilities of other nations.
No one can prove who or what the aircraft is so it cant really raise tensions between the two countries. I actually think its the perfect way to show China(and the world) that while our country is in dire straits economic wise, we still rule the roost when it comes to military confrontation.
I don't think we're trying to provoke a conflict. I just think we're showing off a new "toy" to a country that has vast dollar reserves and could fuck us(and themselves) in the ass if they think about dumping those reserves.
I know Flagg doesn't post much anymore but if he sees this thread I hope he weighs in on the subject.
One other thing.....
I don't think we can rule out this being a Russian aircraft either. Whoever it is(and I obviously lean towards it being a U.S. aircraft), they just made a bold yet subtle statement.

It's definitely not a normal jet. Contrary to what Michael Bay wants us to believe there are no hidden bat mobile buttons in a Navy Fighter plane. Standard military test operations like missile testing etc. are always reported to the proper authorities beforehand, especially airspace command at the airport they're planning to fly over! "Whoever did this?" wanted this to be a confirmed unofficial event, typically used when a power wants to send some type of message.

The U.S. have been selling tons of sensitive shit to the Chinese for decades. I don't see it beneath their management to unload some flashy cocaine funded black op fifty paygrades above the President type of device in return for some goodwill or whatever.

I wouldn't really say it's in dire straits. It's not optimal, but the U.S. is still the biggest corporation on the planet and nobody is ever going to call the debts on the most dangerous and powerful creature in the cage. The bankers are just doing the usual bullying. Intimidating management and the employees into giving up just a little more power and giving them a little more. As long as the U.S. public stays in line nobody's going to pull any carpets.
As I see it any military "move" beyond the usual stockpiling of tanks and aircraft is not present on anybodys radar right now. While there is a very great need for percieved risk of war there is little if any need for actual war. The public doesn't want it, the politicians are not likely to profit from it and since the advent of nuclear weapons I'd challenge even a jewish banker to balance the books on that kind of destruction.
Given this I think it is more likely to be a move intented for the general public. To gauge reactions, measure statistics or whatever the mindfucks over at the endowed institutes are cooking up these days.

Never going to happen and they both know it. The economic ties are way too tight, and nobody would ever consider war or other malignent acts as viable political options. Everybody, and I mean everybody in both governments are more than happy enough to keep sucking that federal commie banker tit than they are supporting some crazy egotrip al Hitler and Alexander. Those days are over. Apart from a few brave characters in the middle east there are no more governments to subdue and supress. Everybody's sold their countries and bought the dream long ago. In the end credit and flat screen tv's became irresistable. All we have now is the West and their confused populations whom still think they live in nation states such as America, Germany or China. And that's the only enemy left to fight.
So government playing with population gets my vote. U.S., China, Russia, The Antarctic Nazi's, don't care which.
Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
i agree that the us wouldn't falunt something classified like that even as a warning unless somethnig is brewing in the very near future, which i hope not.
What about China's rising role on the world stage? China is gaining power at a very fast rate (especially economically). The US, and I'm leaning more towards James' idea on this one, simply wants to show China that their economy may be better, their land army may be larger, but when it comes down to it our military is so technologically advanced that they wouldn't stand a chance against us.
It's certainly not a Chinese aircraft. It's either a US aircraft or a Russian one. My money is on the US.
Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
Obama's "positive" reaction from the world has been good for diplomacy, but bad at the poker table of force.
I think you'll see more of this. The U.S. knows it's lost it's fear in the world, because of the clusterfucks in Afghanistan & Iraq. We'll probably launch another Cold War. And if THAT happens, Obama can most certaintly kiss 2012 goodbye.
Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
Eh, why would they fly over China? You're thinking 1960's technology ideas aka U2 and SR-71 spy-planes. It's obsolete. They're not needed. You have satellites taking superb pictures of anything you want in any country. Flying over China, especially with a gigantic contrail everyone can see. Really? Really?! It lights up the damn sky as a shining fucking comet.
Alright, so it's not a spyplane, but let's say the Aurora project showing off it's colors. Why would they light up the entire damn night sky then. Horrible way of staying undetected. Even so, I still get the feeling of an 1980's cold war project finally being ready. 25 years too late.
I'd say it's another missile gone haywire, aka Russian missile over Norway a year ago or whenever it was. Very, very likely.
The stills are pure UFO cigar-shaped crafts. They've been around since before WW2.

Agreed. Territorial wars are over. That is, until we start being short on water. Then things will speed up, but just in those regions where they don't have it. Even then, there will be deals made to provide water to where it's needed, or simply people will start dying off.
People still have the mindset of ww2 and cold war. Thinking a WW3 is equal to WW2. Those days are over, apart from some troublemakers in the middle east. The cold war, if erupted, would have set an end to our civilization anyway. That didn't happen. There are in no ones interest to create any kind of territorial wars. The only war we will see comes from within. Our Arabs blowing themselves up in the name of religion will continue to be the pain in the ass long after they're done in Afghanistan. It's a war of "way of thinking" and "way of life" within, and not of territory.
We'll probably launch another Cold War. And if THAT happens, Obama can most certaintly kiss 2012 goodbye.
Launch another cold war? Get your head out of the bucket of paint, son!
Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
It looks like a Minotaur Rocket Launch, here is a youtube vid of one. Watch the second stage and it looks just like that first vid. Different atmospheric conditions will obviously make the trail look a bit different, but it certainly looks very much like one.

Re: U.S. sending China a "warning"??
yeah i thought the same thing.
I don't see any plane like freaky stuff here. It looks like a standard flying object of some kind with a fairly standard trajectory. The jumping around at the end of the video is hard to determine if it's simply the handheld camera moving or the light in the sky as theres little to refrence on. Meanwhile the excessive light, smoke trails, and the way one part appears to disengage or something at about 1.5 mins into the original video to me really looks much more like some kind of rocket or missile type activity.
But then I freely admit I'm ignorant about millitary stuff. I'm just saying, it doesn't even look like a plane to me, let alone clearly a new type of plane.
