Quite frankly, you're apparently not savvy in the leaks or reading liner notes.

no you're right i know nothing of the leaks...nor did i read the liner notes of the most anticipated album of my life which i've dedicated the past 5 years online following the saga as close or closer than many

reading liner notes is my favorite part of buying an album...its why i'm not a massive downloader like alot of people, i prefer to have the hard copy of the booklet in my hands and read it with a coffee or whatever....i didnt even download the booklet other than to share it with people of this community immediately after it became available through someone else, i didnt actually read it though until i had the damn thing in my own hand, not to mention the fact that i disected the booklet to add all the information to each and every track for the discography section here....

i never personally talked to MSL on the telephone either before he leaked the material to the online people (sarcasm)

so again you're talking out of your ass here, because i was closely watching as the material actually leaked....i was one of the ones who knew and had to keep things quiet before they happened...i wanst directly involved in any of the leaking but i knew the moment something leaked or even up to 2-3 days before

YOU might not know...

axlin just cuz someone has a writing credit doesnt mean that they brought a completely finished song to the table....for instance look at songs that we dont have a demo with BH on

Catcher, Scraped, Shacklers, Sorry and This I Love...we have absolutely NO idea what BH recorded for these tracks and which of those parts were possibly taken off the track to make way for bucket....hell the tracks may be 100% complete up til the time bucket left and ron just added stuff on top...WE DONT KNOW....as for the amazing bumble contributions

i'd say he definately has some amazing moments on CD

another thing...we dont even know without a shadow of a doubt exactly what parts are done by which guitarist...some of the songs are so dense that its hard to distinguish where one guitar stars and another ends

It's not like I like Bucket's solo better because I heard it first

maybe not you specifically, but its hard to determine .... tink of all teh STP songs you know and love ..... now put scott singing STP tunes in front of VR....somethign sounds different. think of AIC with Layne....now listen with their new singer, what about blind melon? with shannon then the same songs without, orig gnr material done by the new band ... the list goes on,  you set yourself up (me you whoever) by hearing a song done a certain way...when things are changed then you notice...same with the "splicing" that peopel complain about on CD...if you really objectively listen you cant hear where new material is added on top of old....you just know the leak like the back of your hand so you think you hear cutting and pasting

The STP songs were still good when done by VR.  Slash and Dean aren't such different guitarists at times.  The thing that was missed the most was the chemistry, because it seemed like most of the time the guys in VR weren't getting along all that well.  And i missed STP doing the songs live because they change it up a lot and jam on some songs.

Layne was the heart and soul of AIC.  Duvall is a good singer, but the emotion isn't there.  I think AIC performing Nutshell on Unplugged is perfection.  There was a lot of emotion in Layne's voice during that performance.  You could tell that he felt every word he sang.

I agree that the leaks have, in a way, spoiled it for some people.  But in my opinion, it's because some of the demos are superior to the final product.  But that's my opinion.  If we had never heard the demos, we undoubtedly wouldn't know the difference.  But I think there would still be some of us complaining that the solos in Catcher and Riad don't really fit.

I really only have issues with two guitar solos on CD.

This I Love which is decent... it isn't as horrible as I original thought, but still, it  is usually when I hit the back button or next button

Catcher's solos make the song unlistenable almost. That was my favorite leak and the solo is just really really bad. There is one part I like, the little lick that comes in when Axl sings "And then the voices went away"

that lick right there is awesome.. the rest is really bad.

What are you trying to say?

I don't get posting as if everyone and their brother hasn't heard all the same leaks

I don't get trying to discredit the obvious, and confirmed by own band members, simply because you're butt sore because you like a particular artist.

Bumblefoot is a cool dude, a talented artist, and been very open with information, but some these Bumble fans are quickly starting to resemble Richard Fortus fans.

Having liner notes, on top of all kinds of archives of demos, and then trying to tell me i'm talking out of my ass, because I don't know Bumble's contributions or what Bucket obviously wrote... I just don't get the hostility.

Yeah dude, Axl fucking Rose or Paul fucking Tobias 'wrote' Bucket's solos. Are you fucking kidding me? They're credited to Carroll, and the demos have Bucket all over them. I guess i'm talking out of my ass. Sorry for having a brain.

While we're at it, I think i'll give Paul Huge credit for Slash's November Rain solo or Axl for Sweet Child O' Mine. After all, we don't REALLY know. We weren't THERE.

whatever that's supposed to mean...

you saying you're holding out on us? got some special song that the rest of us havent had for the last 2 years?

all i'm saying is that many of the online people have been made to look like fools when they assumed more that they thought they knew regarding this band and the goings on in and around it. fact of the matter is that you, like me and like others, have your own thoughts and ideas...but its all nothing more than pure speculation until there is hard evidence to support it

we dont know why certain peopel get the credits for writing songs, they brought somethign integral to the process of creating the song, was it a completed track? maybe, was it a single riff which the rest of the song was written around? maybe.....WE DON'T FUCKING KNOW

There is hard evidence. Liner notes, and electronic evidence. That's no different than listening to AFD, and reading it's liner notes.

Why are the rules different for CD, just because you're a Bumbleite?

dude....wtf last i checked ron contributed to every single track on the finished album....he apears on more songs than anyone with the exception of robin, pitman and Axl....yet you are pretty much saying his contributions to the album mean nothing, obviously axl thinks his contributions are important enough to the album to have him record somethign for every single song

fortus appears on a handful of songs and is buried in the mix to boot....i dont get your angle here hmm a fan of bumble has just as important of say as a fan of bucket....and why the hell does it have to be som damn competition anyway? i enjoy the contributions from all of them...is this some kind of high school pissing match or something?

i dont even know what fucking rules you are talking about anymore? its all personal preference , all i;m saying is that people are more likely to be partial to material they have heard a million times than somethign that comes out altering the norm as you know it

its a pretty basic concept
