Duff is joking a fair bit there, but I think he's pretty serious about something coming soon. The guy interviewing fucked up, he should've said the interview would come out in a few weeks and maybe he could've gotten some exclusive goss about the new singer!

I'm not sure but does he ever say "Days"?? I thought he only said we'll hear soon.
Cool news is coming out, I did start to think they were done. At least on a couple year hiatus. Seems they definitely know who it is, honestly I wouldn't rule out Weilend either, reading between the lines.Of course, Izzy would rock.

I for one would rule out Scott coming back. He's got his solo album he's promoting and then STP are going in the studio to record. I think he's out of the picture. Which is good. I'd much rather hear new STP than new VR with Scott.

I'm sure it's highly unlikely, but he did seem to carefully use his words. He was probably just making sure to not say something bad about him. Was there ever confirmation STP would record? I thought that was a no. Yeah, I guess he is on tour, MIssing Clevelands a pretty good song, haven't heard the rest.
I'd rather not he come back, was never much of a fan, again Duff's wording struck me as a bit odd though.

Yeah it's been confirmed by all STP members that there will be a sixth album. At first it was just the band saying it and there was no confirmation from Scott, but i think earlier this month he came out and said that when he's done with his tour STP will hit the studio. They've already got songs written and the band has already started recording.
