Well, I'm biased, but I'd say yes. The solo at the end of LeBron's Hammer is a face-melter, but it's too short. CD needs kickass guitar like that.
By the way Olorin, King James is on Bucket's "Crime Slunk Scene" CD, not this new one.

Yeah, that's a big issue with Chinese Democracy. You expected some amazing Bucket work and it doesn't happen. He does a good job on it, but I can pick a ton of his solo material that's better. He most certainly should have been allowed to record a solo for This I Love.
Anyone heard Albino Slug yet? Not his best album, but there's even tracks on it that I would rate higher than CD.

Yeah, James, Albino Slug is hit and miss. Redeem Team and Siege Engine are pretty good. Dawn at the Deuce is a classic mellow Bucket track. The others I'm not too in love with, although he does some surf-guitar-like on one song and pays homage to Zeppelin on another.
Redeem Team is probably the best rocker. Could easily be a GNR tune with minimal tinkering.
The early reviews of Slaughterhouse on the Prairie is that after the first two tracks, it gets a little crazy. More like Kaleidoscalp, Cuckoo Clocks, Island of Lost Minds-era Bucket.
I hope to have it in a couple weeks.

that is some pretty kick ass Metal stuff....kinda old school and Axl could definitely let loose on the first two.
Bucket even plays just typical rock shit. That untitled track at the end of Population Override sounds like one of those jams Slash would play between songs on the UYI tour. Even though its only 94 seconds, its actually a bit out of place in the context of that record.
