Check out this guy, he sounds almost identical to Scott. If VR want another guy with Scott's vocal style, this guy would fit the bill.

The two unheard VR demos sound pretty good too.
I believe the first one was originally called Motherfucker, and was a mentioned song title during the Libertad sessions.

Okay... Turning Around sounds like it was written by Scott. It's got him all over it.

And the 3 "VR Demos" aren't demos if they were re-recorded by this guy with his vocals.

I wouldn't really care to see him front VR. He's too much like Scott, except more generic sounding to my ears.

Turn Around was okay. I'd like to hear Scott's vocals on it.

He's a good singer, but in a generic way. There's a billion other guys who sound just like him. And they all have the same haircut, too.

I don't care enough about VR to bitch.

I have never been as unimpressed with a band like I was with VR. So much potential that led to such mediocre music.

If they do continue, I think Dave should be let go.

If you actually watch the video Duff doesn't really say what it's implied that he said. So it's easy to not get really excited either way about it.

matt says here-2:24-that they will announce shortly that vr has a new singer, and then he goes and says they trying out a few singers.
i dont really believe vr are as close as he says to finding a new singer.

I don't think the band is active at all. They seem to be talking about VR now, the same way they were talking about the non-existant Guns during the 1994-98 era.

Its going to be a long road to find a new guy....if you remember the VH1 doco showing the search for Scott it was pretty painful...will only get harder now they have to consider if the new guy can sing the old material, yet not be seen as Scott Lite or a clone, and also be able to bring new ideas to the band....

But at the end of the day Slash and Duff and Matt have a ton of chemestry together...so i'm always hopeful that theres still good music ahead.
