I'd go for Adler, classic drummer who still has the chops and was an equal part of what made GNR great.. If I only he can get himself together. He does look better these days, but that prob wont last sadly.

I'm glad you said that, because I will never accept a GNR reunion with Matt drumming. It's Steven or Frank or Brain. Otherwise, it's garbage.

It's NOT a reunion with Frank or Brain. That'd be an awful choice. I agree with the "Don't Cry" parody video in the other thread. It's Adler "but he's too messed up so we'll settle for this douchebag" (Matt).

I'd love to see a reunion with Adler. Love it. But I admit I don't think it will ever happen. Loco Adler looking better?  Did you see him on the new VH1 show? He snuck heroin in the first day!! He's pretty hopeless. I don't think he'll ever get clean, imagine him on the show Intevention. He'd definitely relapse. (Make for an awesome episode though, imagine Axl, Slash, Izzy, & Duff in the room saying "We'll reunite, and want you to be the drummer. IF you can get clean." I still say he wouldn't pull thru)

The only other drummer I'd accept aside from Matt & Steven is as much of a douche as he is, is Tommy Lee. As he was big (popular) with them in their heyday. Sometimes I think it would have been interesting if VR chose him. Would have lessened the GnR expectations of it by making the lineup more diverse.

By no means am I a Matt fan, but a "reunion" with Brain or Frank is like Led Zeppelin reuniting with a session drummer.

Matt is just such a "run to the press", whiney douche, that regardless of Axl giving him a lift and hanging out with him 2006... what did did he do? Ran as fast to the press to talk about it, as soon as it happened.

I couldn't imagine Steven or Matt EVER rejoining Guns.

I don't think it's a moot point, and just because there's no way in hell that Steven or Matt will be invited back, I don't think that really effects arguments for the others returning.
