as for a certain someone on that list, they are pirating it for anyone who wants it.. while we all do it, there are certain situations where you dont.. being a "mod" on their forum and "thanked", plus being a fan of the band means you should really buy it..
I didnt have to buy C.D really...

Got the CD today, and it came with a poster and bonus DVD featuring a live gig and the webisodes.

Gotta hand it to Duff too, the packaging and artwork is all very fuckin' cool. As for the CD itself, I've only listened through once, and it's probably Duff's strongest work out of all of his solo stuff. Some very catchy melodies there and the production is top notch.

I highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking about picking it up.

Congrats on getting a nod in the booklet. You are definitely the most hardcore Duff fan I've ever known at these sites. I'm pretty sure I'm a member of that Duff site you moderate. I'll have to go through my bookmarks and check it out again.

well, you might like it, you might not.  its def a more upbeat album with a few radio friendlys, or so i think..  and you`d be suprised where its been sold, and it was only £8.99 for the limited edition box with poster and dvd.. the dvd is awesome too..tho my only gripe is its not the whole gig..
Ive not heard a bad word about it, yet.  Being with Century Media now is a good thing too.  As for the nod, all the mods got a mention, tho with what I do I was suprised I got one..
And ive seen a few hardcores recently, im not one of em lol.. I just think he`s underestimated and deserves a lot more respect and lot less shit than he gets

I'm a huge fan of Believe In Me. Got tons more play in my life back then than TSI ever did. That album had several potential hits, but it was just wrong place, wrong time. Had he released that in 1990 before UYI took off, it would have flown off the shelves. Nobody cared about it because they were all listening to Nirvana, Soundgarden, AIC,etc. Delaying it wouldn't have helped either because in 94 bands like NIN, Offspring, Live, and Green Day exploded.

Didn't like Beautiful Disease, and never really dove into his other solo work.

I thought Believe In Me was hit and miss. There's some good songs, and some REALLY bad ones, where it seems like Duff was too out of it to know any better.

Beautiful Disease is a solid focused punk rock album from start to finish featuring a stone cold sober Duff. So comparing it to his previous solo album is like apples and oranges, but I like Beautiful Disease much better.

Loaded is more along the lines of Beautiful Disease, and Sick is a real grower of an album. It hasn't left my cd player in my car and with every listen it seems to get better and better.

IOU is probably my favorite song off of it

definitely very very solid catchy and it rocks. It has that organic/alive feel to it. it really swings and moves.

Really? IOU is one of my least favourite songs on there.

You can definitely hear the influences throughout too, sounds like Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age on allot of the tracks.

I love the first 3 songs and Translucent as well.
