Is there any mad shred stuff on this record?
While I like his slower stuff too, one of the things I like about some of bucket's more crazy solos is just the effect of sitting there going like "how the hell is that possible?" (like the sweeps at the end of Soothsayer are frightening lol).
So is there some stuff like that?

If you're not wanting to hear the mellow stuff, then you're not gonna like this album. This album seems to be for people pining for another Electric Tears/Colma type record.
Only song you might be interested in is The Return of Captain EO, although its technically not "shred". I'll upload that track for you later.
By the way, this is his best album since Electric Tears, although I haven't heard every album released since then.

This dude has uploaded a lot of the new album, and it sounds effing amazing. More like Colma and Electric Tears. A definite change of pace from his recent stuff. I just ordered my CD.

I wish BH could do some more mainstream stuff now and again too. I've bought a few albums, some I thought sucked and some were quite good. I'm simply hesitant in wasting money on something I don't like that much. It's sometimes just too avant-garde. If BH bad been given more time to shine in GNR, that's were he should have been.
