Hey all,
It's my pleasure to announce I'll be doing shows over the Summer with Lita Ford, playing guitar with the band alongside Bumblefoot drummer Dennis Leeflang.
To GNR fans: Lita and I have GNR's blessings to do this together, all is cool. This won't interfere with upcoming GNR plans, I'll be flying out and coming right back.
To Lita fans: lookin' forward to meeting y'all and having a great time together!

He is just trying to make sure it doesn't create any waves with GNR fans. I already noticed at HTGTH when this info was posted people were like "WTF that must mean there is no chance of a tour this year". lol
They must have been living under a rock if they thought the writing wasn't already on the wall for no tour.
I don't believe there are any plans at all that's why this won't interfere with it.

I think he's just responding to some fans "freaking out" that this means the end of GNR or the doomsday theorists. There's been a lot of discussion over at HTGTH about "how could Ron disrespect Axl and go and do this?" Really, just by ONE crazed fan. He takes things to a level I've never seen before. It actually sounds like Ron is responding to him by saying he has GNR's blessing. I'm sure it's just a coincidence though. Ultimately he's just confirming what he said previously in his latest interview, which some people were saying he lied in. Nothing has changed, nothing is planned, but this isn't going to hold anything up. Ultimately because there's nothing to hold up at this point.

Sadly I think it's just wishful thinking.
Bascially Ron is going to continue to do his own thing, but won't let it interfere with things in the unlikely event Axl actually decides to do something.

He's just staying true to what he said previously. I forget the exact words but when that interview popped up saying he was "hopeful" that GNR would tour. He responded that the interview was months old and that the state of GNR wasn't what it was back then and plans weren't necessarily the same, or something along those lines. He also said that it wasn't his job to announce any news and he wouldn't be doing so. I don't think he's being cryptic. Simply saying people shouldn't read into him touring with Lita to mean GNR is dead and there is no hope in sight. I wouldn't read any more into it than that.

Yeah i kinda know. I just posted that to see if anyone would jump on the OH MY GOD THEY MUST BE TOURING train. Did'nt quiet work out the way i thought

At least we know he's still in the band for when they get a tour happening...the last thing we need would be more members quitting and the re-hiring delays all over again...so i'm glad he updated us.
