TDK still deserves to be here, because at this point it's the greatest, and most profitable super hero film ever made. So it's earned it's stripes.
What I think is the problem is alot of WEAK films were nominated. Where is Halloween or Dawn of the Dead or The Empire Strikes Back or Apollo 13 or Heat or Goodfellas, etc.
All of which are better films than TDK.

Dark Knight is way overrated.
Having said that, I would not be surprised in the least if it wins this tournament. Some amazing films were knocked out early.
I like (not love) the Dark knight but if it wins the tournament we should never do another movie tournament again.

I nominated two films that I wanted in the tournament but I was surprised when stuff like Halloween or Empire never made it in. If I had known those films weren't gonna make it I think I would have nominated Halloween instead of Warriors.
