I dont think he's so good that you should get him at all costs, like he isn't a freak player like bucket, so maybe not if he's insisting on getting to do your girlfriend, $10k or adopting your first born to be in the band. But if he's a decent bloke and comes without too much issue, then he's good enough that it could be pretty interesting.
In the end its all about how well you get on with other people in the band I think and if you all have the same vision for how the end result should sound - in terms of style etc.
