The Simpsons I think will be harshly judged as a 'mixed' show at the end of the day, because it's been on far too long. The first 7-8 seasons are pure comedic genious, specifically the satire. Around Seasons 9-10 it started leveling out, but was still solid. The second half of the series however, the last 10 seasons or so, have been absolutely AWFUL.
So 10 'Amazing' + 10 'Awful' = Mediocre, unfortunately.
The Simpsons Movie was the funniest thing they had done in over 10 years.

Not a big fan of either, but Simpsons has been very influential and has some great episodes. I probably won't vote for it in round two but it deserves to move on.

In "GnREvolution Television Madness" fire represents death, when the Show's theme song plays, the show goes up in flames, when the names are read, the decision is final and they must leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll go tally the votes.
