Re: No Checkmate remains.
I was just browsing youtube, and went to search for Checkmate to listen to it for the one million and second time!
However, I couldn't find it anywhere, gone, vanished, removed. I know one should not read to much into this, considering the track record of this band, but anyone have any thoughts??

There's one sandwiched between two fanmade electronic sections of Silkworms and something else, too. That one's been around for a while and never deleted.

Yeah he's a pain in the fuckin ass. I uploaded Checkmate to Utube some time ago and I've a got a mail saying that I was posting copyrighted material and if I don't delete all illegal things in my account they will ban me.

The problem is YouTube. When some Joe Schmuck can e-mail, and get people's shit taken down, especially wit a site LOADED with the bottom of the barrel of internet users... says something about how tender-assed and pussyfied they are concerning getting sued.

Yeah I really wish GNR would go after that guy too. He is a complete tool. He actually costs the band in the sense of getting vidoes etc removed that in some respects actually provide free promotion for the band.
He then has the hide to post the same shit on his own site that he certainly doesn't own!
The fact that he effectively misrepresents himself to be the copywrite owner of the material is what he needs a big kick in the rectum for!

If he had your material taken down you can tell youtube your story (that he's a fraud) and request that his notification to them be given to you which will give you all his personal information, ie: name, address, phone number, e-mail.
If they ask you to file a complaint your personal information will be given to him, so be careful. Just let them know you think he's a fraud and you will not give out your personal information. Contacting GNR's management and letting them know UziSuicide LLC is impersonating GNR and Managment on youtube would also help too.
