Re: Albums featuring Buckethead AND Brain (and Robin)
Since it's unlikely we're going to hear any new music from GNR, I thought this list could be useful for those of us that enjoyed Chinese Democracy and can recognize that Brain and Buckethead were the two most important instrumentalists on the album. I'll add more to this list as the music becomes available - you can bet that there'll be a shitload more Bucket and Brain collaborations in the future.
The following are albums in which Buckethead and Brain both appear;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ben Wa - Devil Dub (1999)
Brain - The Worst Drum Instructional DVD Ever (2007)
Buckethead and Brain - I Need 5 Minutes Alone: Pieces (2002)
Buckethead and Brain - Kevin's Noodle House (2007)
Buckethead - Colma (1998)
Buckethead - Monsters and Robots (1999)
Buckethead - KFC Skinpiles (2001)
Buckethead - Cuckoo Clocks of Hell (2004)
Buckethead - The Dragons of Eden (2008)
Buckethead - A Real Diamond in the Rough (2009)
Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains - The Big Eyeball in the Sky (2004)
Giant Robot - Giant Robot NTT (Featuring Pete Scaturro on keyboards) (1996)
El Stew - No Hesitation (1999)
Science Faxtion - Living on Another Frequency (2008)
Praxis - Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis) - 1992
Praxis - Sacrifist - 1994
Praxis - Metatron - 1996
Praxis - Live in Poland - 1997
Praxis - Transmutation Live - 1997
Praxis - Warszawa - 1999
Praxis - Tennessee 2004 - 2007
Praxis - Profanation (Preparation for a Coming Darkness) - 2008
And for the Robin supporters, the soundtrack to the movie "Ghosts of Mars" (2001) features both Buckethead and Robin.
Re: Albums featuring Buckethead AND Brain (and Robin)
Incidentally, Giant Robot NTT is a free album and contains 3 of the songwriters from Chinese Democracy, namely Pete Scaturro (keys), Buckethead (guitar) and Brain (drums). You can find it in the free Buckethead stuff thread.
Re: Albums featuring Buckethead AND Brain (and Robin)
Already knew this, but still thx for putting this together for those out there that listened to CD, and are know trying to connect with previous Bucket & Brain collabs.
As for instrumentalists, and the most important, I would probably put Axl & Chris on a higher plane than either Bucket or Brain. Axl & Chris put it together and conceptualized it, and then of course Bucket & Brain came in and transformed the songs into what they eventually became.

Yeah, I realize that needs to be updated, especially Brain's. Was obviously overlooked during the site's redesign. Wish someone had mentioned it.
