Almost Home is a novel by American author Jessica Blank to be published in October 2007 by Hyperion. Almost Home deals with the subject of runaway youth through the lives of seven homeless teenagers.[1]
In September 2007, the film rights to "Almost Home" would be initially optioned by Jon Bon Jovi and his producing partners Jack Rovner and Ken Levitan, but now the new producer will be Axl Rose from the band Guns N' Roses. Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen will adapt the screenplay.

Axl expressed an interest in filmmaking in the don't cry video I think...be interesting if he did get into it.

Which is ... pretty funny.
1.) If it gets distribution/middle-scale release, I wonder if there would be a soundtrack album released?
