Matt Sorum Joins Motorhead

For the next few weeks former Guns n Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum will be beating it for Motorhead.
Motorhead’s Mikkey Dee has taken a leave of absence to partake in the Swedish version of ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’. He’s off to a Malaysian jungle for 16 days.
Dee signed up for the show before the latest Motorhead tour was put in place.
Luckily, Matt Sorum is not in any reality shows in coming weeks and was available to fill in for Mikkey.
Motorhead play Detroit tonight (September 1).

That title is misleading, Matt didn't join them, he's just filling in for their drummer.

Lemmy explained that apparently their drummer had already committed to the show before the tour dates came up, so there's no animosity, and they just contacted Matt to fill in.

Can't bring myself to go downtown for this tonight. Matt's too big of a d-bag.
I would've checked it out, just to see how Matt holds up playing Motorhead tunes.
