To creep back a few posts,it is amazing how many e-experts know exactly what the band should do,play, look in order to succeed-I wonder why they need a manager or a label, the e-experts could no doubt handle it all effortlessly and better.
Forum dwellers are such multi-talented people, they are obviously taking breaks from their day job as rocket scientists, and brain surgeons, Amazing!

I know, isn't it absolutely amazing how many people run bands EVERY DAY on MySpace and Facebook successfully, yet Axl wastes money daily for nothing to happen.

Great sarcastic post, but let's not start throwing stones from a glass house.

Axlin, where in the world in my posts did you get that I wanted them to play majority CD songs on tour? Touring CD doesn't mean not playing the standards. If anything they just need to include TWAT, Sorry, If The World, Prostitute and possibly Shacklers to the list.

Even 5 songs is too many for a dead album, that a casual GN'R audience, their target audience, doesn't want to hear.

I understand positivity, but believing that UYI-type CD sets will exist, and single releases or re-releases for a second wind is just like... 10

You say... why not? I agree. But thinking the promo train is going to leave the station in December 2009 for an album released in November 2008 is not only laughable, but is reunion rumor territory. It's flat out preposterous for anyone to even manufacture that pipe dream in their head.

That's like me telling you Axl's gonna be at my house tomorrow for dinner. It's that far out there.

That's why not... I guess. 19

See that's abso-freaking-lutely hilarious. Pure propaganda 14  I'm not saying you're spreading this Madagas cause I know you got this from somwhere but this is what I mean. Those buildings can hold about 18 000 -19 000 each for a concert if you're counting the capacity on the floor.  Rexall says it can hold 12 000 for concerts but that's clearly bullshit. That's simply seats in the stands with specific sections blocked off and if I remember correctly they were selling seats behind the stage. At least in Calgary they did.  Sold Out my ass.  None of the upper sections were blocked off. Tickets were available for the entire buildings. They simply did not sell out those venues unless we're to believe nearly half the people who bought tickets simply didn't show up. the floor would be empty if that was the case.  Not very likely.  Why do that again?  Why play to half empty arenas? I just don't get that.   That's my only issue. It's great for those who want to see them but I just don't get their logic.  Of course it's positive they're gonna tour but I just dont' get why they wouldn't wanna play in the most appropriate sized venues rather than fake their way through it as a legit arena act.

Last time they announced a tour in this area my phone went crazy with people calling me to tell me about it. This time.... NOTHING. I hope for Gn'R's sake it goes well but man I don't know.......
