Re: how are the shows selling this time around?
New songs I'd definently like to see played live:
CD
Shacklers
Better
SOD
ITW
Catcher
Scraped
Madagascar (If Richard plays like its 2006 again, bin it)
TIL
Prostitute
Sorry is the only one I'd not be disapointed to miss out hearing live, other than that I'd take em all. I dont think 10 is too much to ask though, when you spend all those years making an album and sticking to your guns throughout, surely you would take pride in playing them.
I cant see Tommy wanting to play a few and then fall back on all the old songs, he was pissed on previous tours for that reason allegedly.
I for one will be disapointed if they dont stand by the new album, but I'm in the minority on here, in that I fully expect CD to get a healthy airing on this tour.
Without a doubt the song I'm most eager to here played live is Catcher, I think it will sound absolutely fantastic. I'm gutted that Brain wont be there cause he is a fucking star on that song
Re: how are the shows selling this time around?
Civil War is my most wanted return to the set list.
Dizzy (and the band) played the intro on various occasions during 2006.
I'd like to hear it too. Futured on my pipedream setlist!
And give Tommy a mic... WE WANT VILLAGE GORILLA HEAD.
Re: how are the shows selling this time around?
Just throw out the cover songs altogether I say....just Gnr tracks.
That is actually a pretty good idea. And handsome as well as others who mentionned this. I can't speak for the others but just because I do not agree with everything GNR or Axl does and I do not want to play the ostrich game don't mean that I suddenly hate GNR or Axl. I didn't realise that we had to Baz Axl and GNR to be fans geez!

No offence to Tommy, but I'd rather hear more GN'R songs played than solo songs by band members.
