That and the prediction that we'll get the same exact show with the same exact setlist this time around.  Oh, and how could I forget the thought that the tour will self implode because of poor ticket sales and the fact that nobody cares about this band.

I understand tempering expectations, but to have such a negative outlets on things, that I don't get.

Well, almost everything has been negative, so expecting more negative isn't unreasonable at all.  I'd say it's far more unreasonable to bitch about the people that expect more of the same personally.

You guys don't seriously expect everything to be peachy, do you?  When was the last successfully completed GnR tour?  1990 something?  How many rumored tours have either never happened or fallen apart at the seams?  It's not negative to look at the facts.  It's looking at the facts.  What's negative is the story that the facts tell.  that isn't our fault, so forgive people if they aren't as giddy as you are.

The fact (and it is a fact) that not a single show has sold out yet is a pretty telling story...

What's pathetic is bitching about the truth, not telling it.  If you don't like it, get out.  Go to HTGTH.  Live in fantasy land somewhere else.  Telling the truth is never, ever pathetic, however bitching about people telling the truth is.  Sorry, but it is.

Buzz, you have to understand that people are excited that gnr is touring. We all know that the shows aren't sold out and you are free to talk about that but don't go out of the way to be pessimistic and not expect resistance. Nobosy's living in fantasy a land here. we all have different ideas of what success is and we should because it is subjective but it's not the 90's any more and it's time to get sued to it.

I've gone out of my way to say nothing...that is until people started condeming people for talking about the truth instead of toeing the company line.  They were looking for someone to take the bait, I took them up on the offer.  Why does that make me an ass?  Why doesn't it make the people doing the (master)baiting asses?

The real problem is that it's you guys living in the 90s like GnR matters today.  They don't.  I know that.  I'm not living in the 90s.  I know that this band is comepletely, completely irrelevent in pop culture today outside of being the butt of a few jokes.  And it's okay that they are.  I don't have a problem with it, but you guys do.  You don't want to accept the facts.  Too bad.  I'm glad you enjoy the band.  Really I am.  But you guys need to stop living in the 90s like anybody else cares about the band.
