The fact (and it is a fact) that not a single show has sold out yet is a pretty telling story...

For war, who seems to have missed the post I made...

ugh all you do is make more work for me

i saw it the first time you wrote it , buzz

I know the shows are not sold out
WE know the shows are not sold out
EVERYBODY knows the shows are not sold out

WE KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW
you haven't enlightened anyone, buzz

atleast that i've noticed

some of us choose not to or do not care

He doesnt care either, and he doesnt care about anything much to do with new gnr. Thats what makes his constant put downs, jibes and negativity so fucking tedious.

But he's just telling it like it is, eh guys? roll

I just did a search on the gig I'm going to in Regina, if you want 2 tickets, the best you can do is the back side of the lower bowl. If you want 1 ticket, you're in the middle on the side.

You're right, I don't care.  That's why my posting numbers are way down over the past couple months (meaning I'm not always bitching about anything contrary to popular belief).  That's also why I gave CD a listen for the first time in ages, liked some of it more than I did before, and posted about it.  That's why I complimented Axl's singing in a thread about Slash.  Yep, you got me there.

The thing is war, I never claimed to have enlightened anyone in this thread.  You're looking for things to attack me for and have now gone as far as to make things up to attack me for.

I'm not speaking in defense of anything outside of this thread. I'm really just not understanding why people are so bent out of shape because he's pointing out tickets aren't selling; they're not.

Is it coming from a guy who people view of negative more often then not? Yep. But does he have a point here? I believe so.

I, and most of the people here, have no problem pointing out when ticket sales are bad. But when there's a pattern of behavior outside this thread involving a mindset that is here to intentionally start shit I'm supposed to ignore it and take it at face value? This has nothing to do with ticket sales. If it weren't for his track record I could take him seriously.

And I don't see buzz making the only valid point in this thread.

Now excuse me, I have to go count everyones post counts to see who's opinion matters most, now apparently...

Here's the reason why I got involved; people were calling buzz an asshole instead of arguing their point.

Last I checked, our community here works better than the others because that's not how we do things. We are all pretty intelligent and able to make arguments without resorting to insults.

As far as post counts, I couldn't tell you how many posts any one has. I don't look at it. So I'm not sure exactly what you were getting at with that.

Russ, Here is my point...for the second time.

"Tickets being available in these big arenas doesn't necessarily mean that sales are bad. Now, they may be bad, but until the show goes on, you have no real idea as to what the actual sales are.

and, I believe that I will wait for the official pollstar numbers to SUBJECTIVELY determine what is a success and what isn't. "

Buzz continually makes assumptions and subjectiive opinions about what is a success and what is not...then, he tries to pass them off as FACT. They are not facts, and he doesn't have a fucking clue as to how these shows are selling. I don't either and you don't either Russ. Searching for tickets in certain sections is completely random in these big venues two months before a show. We know they aren't sold out. That is the only FACT here. Buzz simply assumes the ticket sales are bad with absolutely no concrete proof.

As for the insults, I am sick of his arrogant putdowns and tones in his posts. They are INSULTING to me and obviously a few more people on this board as well. We want to keep the board civil also, but I, personally, am going to call him out everytime he tries to call out others. Quid Pro Quo my friend.

back on topic and taking a deep breath....I still think the venues are too big, but we will see soon enough. Obviously, I had a long boring day at work today. hmm
